Jeanette Winterson (innate August 27, 1959) is a British novelist.

Natural within Accrington, near Manchester, Winterson was educated at St Catherine's College, Oxford.

Winterson's foremost novel was Oranges Are Not the Only Fruit, written about her childhood (although she doesn't refer thereto when all autobiographical), existence raised by evangelical parents in the north of England.
